Shri Guru Bhagwat
Shri Guru Bhagwat is a philosophical book that transcends the mundaneness of mankind’s existence on earth. It was initially published in Odia in the unique Navakshari poetry meter and comprises over 34,000 lines. Shri Guru Bhagwat is currently available in 8 volumes and has been translated into 12 Indian languages and English.
Previous Volumes
Volume I
The first volume of the Shri Guru Bhagwat contains three chapters. The first chapter is on Sadgurus (Perfect Masters), Gurus (Masters), Santhas (Saints) and Sanyaasi (Ascetics). The second chapter deals with the Guru-Shishya relationship. The third chapter deals with Spiritual Initiation by the Guru in a detailed manner.
Volume II
The book describes the Divine characteristics of the Sadguru, the Divine signs on the body of Shri Guru, the power of miracles of Shri Guru, the relationship between the Guru and the disciple, Divine Grace, the transference of Power, the theory of Universe and the theory of Guru and some portions from the science of Death.
Volume III
It deals with Dharma (Religion), the knowledge of Death (Mrityu Vidya), Karma Phala (Action-reaction syndrome of Hindu spiritual science), Spiritual practices relating to the Gurus (Guru Sadhana).
Volume IV
This volume is devoted to God realization (Ishwar Prapti), the difference between Guru’s worship and worship of the Hindu Deities, Yoga-Sadhana (Principles of Yogic Practices), Devotion, Spiritual/Occult, etc.
Volume V
It deals with Blind Faith, the acts of cursing and blessing, the divine relationship between some Gurus and disciples, the first meeting between a Guru and the devotee, Siddhi Tattwa, the principles of family life, the principles (dynamics) of Kaala, etc.
